Equine Assisted Psychotherapy — also known as EAP — is a type of therapy which integrates horses into the treatment process.
It is used in a variety of therapy fields. Horses can help people with physical issues, speech problems, behavioral issues, emotional problems, and other disabilities.
For over 20 years I received training to become a Certified Equine Assisted Therapist through EAGALA — the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association, a national nonprofit certification and education organization. As of 2024 I am not a current member of EAGALA though I draw heavily from that foundational training.
I am currently offering EAP services at a ranch in the Santa Cruz Area. Please call me for additional. information
